James Cameron has revealed the release dates for four sequels to Avatar.
After years of delays, production of the sequels is finally underway after the first movie was released in 2009.
According to 20th Century Fox, Avatar 2 is set to hit cinemas on December 18th 2020, and the rest will be released between 2021 and 2025.
The dates were revealed through their Facebook page yesterday.
Stars of the original film are set to return, including Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Sigourney Weaver and Stephen Lang.
Avatar is the world’s highest-grossing film, grossing over $2.78 billion since it’s release in 2009.
