Rapper Nicki Minaj has revealed that she is married to boyfriend Kenneth Zoo Petty.
It has been long speculated that the two tied the knot in secret, and now Nicki herself has confirmed that she is a wedded woman.
Nicki revealed the news and the wedding date via Instagram.
Taking to the social media site, she uploaded a video of Bride and Groom caps, and mugs which had Mr and Mrs emblazoned on them.
“Onika Tanya Maraj-Petty 10•21•19,” she wrote.
Christina Aguilera, Winnie Harlow, Tanisha Thomas all gave their congratulations to the star in the comments section.
Nicki revealed last week that she was planning on marrying Kenneth soon.
Speaking to E! News, Nicki confirmed they had obtained a marriage license.
“We’ve gotten our marriage license, but there’s a particular pastor who I want to officiate and so she was just made available as of today,” she said.
She revealed that she was eager to marry her beau in a private ceremony, and would potentially throw a lavish second wedding in a few years when she had time.
The couple’s engagement has been largely criticized by fans due to Kenneth’s criminal past.
According to reports, Kenneth is a registered sex offender, and was convicted of attempted rape in the first degree in April 1995.
