Rap mogul Suge Knight to serve 28 years in jail after being charged with manslaughter

Rap mogul, Suge Knight, has been sentenced to 28 years in jail after he was charged with manslaughter.

The 53-year-old pleaded no contest to manslaughter, as he ran over and killed a Compton businessman in 2015.

The Death Row Records co-founder was charged with murder, attempted murder and hit-and-run in 2015 as he reportedly got into a physical altercation with Cle “Bone” Sloan and ran over businessman, Terry Carter, as he tried to flee the scene.

Suge is to be sentenced on October 4th and all other charges made against him, including murder and robbery, are to be dismissed as part of his plea deal.

The rapper was one of the biggest music executives in the 1990s as he had stars such as Dr Dre, Tupac Shakur and Snoop Dogg all listed with Death Row Records.
