Rami Malek has been confirmed to play a villain the new James Bond film.
The actor had been linked to a role in the iconic film franchise for quite some time, but officially confirmed the news during the launch of Bond 25.
During a short clip revealed to the public this afternoon, Rami joked that he was jealous of being in New York while the rest of the cast and crew of the Bond film announced the movie from Jamaica.

“But I’m very much looking forward to joining the whole cast and crew very soon and I promise you all that I will be making sure Mr. Bond will not have an easy ride of it in this his 25th outing,” he said.
It was also announced that some cast members would be returning for the new film, including Daniel Craig, Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris and Jeffrey Wright.
