R. Kelly ‘confronted by police’ at nightclub in Chicago

The rapper is reportedly under investigation

R. Kelly was allegedly confronted by the police during his birthday celebrations in Chicago, amid reports that he’s under investigation in Georgia.

The 52-year-old was partying at V75 Chicago early Thursday morning when police officials arrived.

The cops were reportedly responding to a call about a warrant for the singer’s arrest, and a recording of the police dispatcher’s call has since been shared online.

Law enforcement have since confirmed to TMZ that they did go to the club and make contact with R. Kelly, but once they determined there was no actual arrest warrant, they left.

Meanwhile, the singer didn’t seem fazed by the controversy swirling around him, as he declared, “”I don’t give a f**k about what’s going on!!” while performing for the crowd.

Despite the shocking allegations made in the new docu-series Surviving R. Kelly, the 52-year-old was surrounded by screaming fans as he sang the opening to ‘Bump N’ Grind’ on the night.
