R. Kelly BANNED Gayle King from asking Aaliyah questions in THAT explosive interview

The singer denied all accusations of sexual abuse made against him in the interview

Gayle King has revealed that she was banned from asking questions about Aaliyah during her recent interview with R. Kelly.

The singer, who is facing several sexual misconduct and abuse lawsuits, sat down for an explosive interview on CBS earlier this week – in which he continued to deny allegations that have been made against him.

Speaking to the New York Times, Gayle opened up about the shocking interview, and revealed how she was told not to ask about his former wife, Aaliyah.

She said, “They didn’t want any questions about Aaliyah, which I was fine with. I feel we have heard the Aaliyah story.”

In the interview, the singer disputed the allegations made against him by claiming that he has never had sex with an underage girl.

When asked how she felt about that statement, Gayle said, “I don’t think he helped himself, because I think 99.9 percent of people who have been following this story believe that he was married and had sex with Aaliyah, she was certainly underage. That’s at least one that we do know about.”

As reported in the recent ‘Surviving R. Kelly’ documentary, the R&B singer allegedly married Aaliyah when she was just 15 years old.

According to a marriage certificate obtained by The Blast, the pair got married on August 31, 1994 in Rosemont, Illinois.
