Police rush to R. Kelly’s apartment over ‘suicide pact’ fears

Chicago police were tipped off by an anonymous caller

Police rushed to R. Kelly’s apartment last night, over fears that his girlfriends were going to carry out a “suicide pact”.

According to PEOPLE, Chicago police received an anonymous call claiming that his girlfriend Azriel Clary and “four other women, who are victims of R. Kelly are planning to carry out a suicide pact at one of the condos at Trump Tower.”

Emergency responders rushed to the apartment block just before 5.30pm.

In a statement, Chicago PD said, “Police received a call from an out of state anonymous caller stating that people at the location were going to carry out a suicide pact. Police on scene conducting a wellness check and it is not a bonafide incident.”

The news comes after the singer’s girlfriends Azriel Clary, 21, and Jocelyn Savage, 23, furiously defended him during an interview with Gayle King on CBS This Morning.

Both women denied claims that they were being held hostage, and insisted that they never had sex with R. Kelly when they were underage.

Despite their denials, both of their parents have claimed that their daughters have been brainwashed by the singer, and are being held against their will.

R. Kelly’s girlfriends sat down for the interview after he was charged with 10 counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse against four alleged victims last month.
