The 11th Annual Celebration of the Female Oscar Nominees, presented by Women in Film, took place last night.
As the most talented actresses in the world arrived at the event their outfits wowed!
Now don’t get us wrong, they’re being celebrated for far more than being able to dress themselves, but we want to celebrate their style as well as their acting after a tough year for the industry.
Kat Graham
Kat is giving us office wear goals in this perfect example of power dressing. Everything from the large and in charge bishop sleeves to her sleek bob scream ‘sh*t together’. We’ll be stealing her style in time for Monday meetings.
Eliza Gonzalez
Eiza looks like an old Hollywood siren in this polka dot dress. Keeping it simple with black heels, clutch and ring, she doesn’t distract from her astounding natural beauty.
Emma Stone
The combination of black, which signifies the #TimesUp movement in the acting world, and sheer seems to serve as a subtle middle finger to the ‘asking for it’ rhetoric which surrounds much of the sexual abuse discussion. We’re not sure if That’s what Stone was going for but we’re on board with her style and dig the strategically placed pockets.
Margot Robbie
Margot could leave the house in a bin bag and we’d still be in awe of her, but she didn’t last night. This red and black striped suit wouldn’t work on many peopple she looks slick sporting it.
Maura Tierney
Maura Tierney is the ideal example of ‘doing you’ when it comes to style. The ER actress looks equal amounts of comfy and chic in pointy patent black shoes and an all grey ensemble.
