Pete Davidson has released an emotional statement – hitting out at online haters.

The comedian has had a turbulent time on social media, since his romance with Ariana Grande became public last April.

Although the couple have now split, Pete seems to still be getting huge hate on his social media posts.

Taking to Instagram, Pete said he has been “bullied” over the last nine months.

“I’ve kept my mouth shut. Never mentioned any names, never said a word about anyone or anything,” he wrote.

“I’ve been getting online bullied and in public by people for 9 months,” he continued.

“No matter how hard the internet or anyone tries to make me kill myself. I won’t. I’m upset I even have to say this.

“To all those holding me down and seeing this for what it is – I see you and I love you,” he finished.
