Charlie Barnett has been cast in the second season of Netflix’s You.
The Russian Doll star will play Joe’s rival Gabe – the best friend of Love Quinn, the show’s new female lead.
Announcing the news on Twitter, Netflix wrote: “#RussianDoll co-star @CharlieBarnett has joined Season 2 of @YouNetflix!”
“He’ll play Gabe, best friend to Love —the show’s new female lead played by Victoria Pedretti.”
Spoiler alert – The first season of the show saw stalker Joe (Penn Badgley)Â kill his girlfriend Guinevere Beck’s best friend Peaches Salinger, after she threatened his relationship with her.
The second series will see Joe move from New York City to Los Angeles, where he meets his new obsession – aspiring chef Love Quinn (Victoria Pedretti).
