Minka Kelly has slammed rumours that she ended Jesse Williams’ marriage.
The Friday Night Lights star quietly started dating the Grey’s Anatomy actor over the summer, just months after Jesse’s split from his wife of five years Aryn Drake-Lee was revealed.
Rumours were rife that Jesse cheated on Aryn, who he has two children with – but Minka has finally shut down speculation once and for all.
After someone commented, “I hope the cheating rumors aren’t true. It would be disappointing,” on Minka’s Instagram, she responded, “They’re not. Hate for you to be disappointed. Glad I could clear that up for you. Now f*** off.”
Another follower then commented, “[That] was a fan. That was a harmless comment that woman made and your response was just mean. At least you are still beautiful on the outside!”
Minka was having none of it, and replied, “That wasn’t a fan and it was passive aggressive and been going on all year. I’m done being polite with people insisting they know more about my personal life than I do.”
Back in July, E! News reported that Minka and Jesse were “dating exclusively”.
A source said, “Jesse is really private with everything, especially his relationships, but feels open with Minka and she has been supportive and that’s what he needs now.”
“They were extra careful after all the media attention they got to be out together but now feel more comfortable to go out in public.”
The news comes after Jesse and Aryn reached a temporary settlement agreement over their custody case.
Jesse was ordered to pay his estranged wife an advance of $160,000, a majority of which will serve as spousal and child support. The remaining $60,000 will finance her attorney fees.
