Miley Cyrus has revealed that she is ‘devastated’ by the fires, as her home is no longer standing.
The singer, who deleted all content from her Instagram in July, took to her Instagram Story to release a statement regarding the devastating fires.
The 25-year-old said that she is “completely devastated by the fires affecting my community.”
Despite her home being destroyed, Miley acknowledged how lucky she is, that her and her loved ones are safe: “I am one of the lucky ones. My animals and LOVE OF MY LIFE made it out safely & that’s all that matters right now.”
The former Disney star emphasised how grateful she was for her fiancé, Liam Hemsworth, by typing his title as “the love of her life” in capital letters.
The singer continued to share a heartfelt message which said: “My house no longer stands but the memories shared with family & friends stand strong.”
“I am grateful for all I have left, sending so much love and gratitude to the firefighters and LA county Sheriff’s department.”
Miley finished her statement with several links to donate to The Red Cross.
