Miley Cyrus defends herself after facing backlash from the LGBTQ community

Miley Cyrus has defended herself, after comments she made in an Instagram live were taken as offensive by some members of the LGBTQA+ community.

Miley threw shade at her exes on the social media app yesterday, saying that her current boyfriend Cody was the only good guy she had ever dated.

While explaining her point, she said: “You don’t have to be gay, there are good people with d*cks out there, you’ve just got to find them.”

“You don’t have to be gay, there are good people with d*cks out there, you’ve just got to find them.”

Her words were considered offensive by some, who thought that the star was implying that they can choose their sexuality.

However, Miley has since clarified that her words were taken up the wrong way.

“I was talking s*it about sucky guys, but let me be clear, YOU don’t CHOOSE your sexuality,” she tweeted.

“You are born as you are. It has always been my priority to protect the LGBTQ community I am a part of.”

Miley came out as bisexual in 2015.
