The reality star had just ended a relationship herself – splitting from ‘husband’ Brody Jenner.
The singer and The Hills star had been pictured kissing on holidays, just hours after Miley released a statement saying her marriage was over.
In the weeks after the pair went public with their romance, holding hands and attending parties together.
Now PEOPLE are reporting that the couple have ended things on good terms.
“Miley and Kaitlyn broke up,” a source told the publication, “They’re still friends.”
“They’ve been friends forever and were there for each other when they were both getting separated. But they’re just not in a romantic relationship anymore,” the insider added.
