Meghan Markle’s on-screen fiance and co-star Patrick J. Adams posted a hilarious tweet, as he congratulated her on her engagement to Prince Harry.

Patrick has played Meghan’s on-screen lover Mike Ross in hit legal drama Suits since 2011.

And yesterday, the actor sent fans into a frenzy by posting a tweet about Meghan’s engagement to Prince Harry, writing, “She said she was just going out to get some milk.”

Meghan has starred as Rachel Zane in Suits since 2011, and fans are all waiting to see if the pair will finally get married in the next season of the show.

Although Patrick was joking around in his hilarious tweet, he did post a genuine heartfelt message to his co-star and friend Meghan, writing, “Playing Meghan’s television partner for the better part of a decade uniquely qualifies me to say this: Your Royal Highness, you are a lucky man and I know your long life together will be joyful, productive and hilarious. Meghan, so happy for you, friend. Much love.”

Earlier this month it was revealed that Meghan and Patrick have both resigned from Suits after seven seasons, which leads us to believe they may finally tie the knot in theirlast season.
