Meghan Markle’s half-brother Thomas Markle Jr. has been arrested for a DUI in Oregon.
TMZ has reported that Meghan’s estranged sibling was pulled over in the early hours of Friday morning, and authorities found that he was three points over the legal limit after performing a field sobriety test.
The 52-year-old was reportedly sent to a detox centre so he could “sober up”, and be released.
This isn’t the first time Meghan’s half-brother has had a run in with the law, as back in January 2017, he was arrested after he pulled a gun on his fiancée, Darlene Blount, during a drunken argument.
Then in July 2018, Darlene was arrested after she gave Thomas a black eye during another bust up.
The news comes just days after Thomas announced that he has invited Meghan and Prince Harry to his wedding in March, in a bid to bring their family closer.
