Meghan Markle’s father has been spotted out in public for the first time since missing the royal wedding.
The 73-year-old was captured back in Mexico after having heart surgery last Wednesday.
Thomas Markle was filmed outside a Starbucks by TMZ. In the photos taken by the media outlet, Mr Markle can be seen speaking and laughing with a friend.
The Duchess was said to be “devastated” after her father dropped out of her wedding. Mr Markle had hoped to attend the wedding, however his heart surgery prevented him from flying.
Doria Ragland, Meghan’s mother, was the only member of her family in attendance at the wedding.
Speaking to TMZ after the wedding, Thomas said, “The service was beautiful and it is history. I will always regret not being able to be there and not being able to hold my daughter’s hand.”
