Meghan Markle jetted into New York this week for her star-studded baby shower, but the former actress’ level of fame has made the trip a little difficult.
A source told HELLO! magazine that the Duchess of Sussex stepped out for lunch with her former Suits co-star Abigail Spencer at the Flora Bar inside the Met Breuer museum on Tuesday – but the pair were forced to leave after just fifteen minutes.
It’s believed they were sat at a window table, and they felt it wasn’t private enough as people couldn’t help but recognise Meghan – so they moved to the Surrey Hotel.
The pair then enjoyed a bite to eat at Café Boulud inside the hotel, and they were seated at the back where it was quieter.
The Duchess jetted to the Big Apple to celebrate her baby shower with some of her closest friends, including Serena Williams, Misha Nonoo, Markus Anderson, Benita Litt, Sarah Rafferty, Priyanka Chopra and Lindsay Roth.
It’s believed Meghan’s best friend Jessica Mulroney organised the baby shower at The Mark Hotel on Tuesday morning.
Later on Tuesday evening, Meghan stepped out once again for an intimate dinner with Markus, Misha, Jessica, Abigail and Serena at The Polo Bar at around 7pm.
