Mariah Carey’s former manager Stella Stolper is suing the singer for civil rights violation.
According to TMZ, Stella is about to file a lawsuit against Mariah for a Violation of the Fair Employment and Housing Act, as well as breach of contract.
The site has reported that the suit involves a “huge amount of money” as Stella claims Mariah didn’t pay her, but it also “involves more than money”.
Stella famously helped Mariah on her reality show when she went through her breakup at the time with James Packer.
Although on the show the former manager was very close with the singer, TMZ reports that Mariah cleared out some staff last year and Stella was one of them.
The news comes after the singer just recently revealed that she suffers from bipolar disorder.
