Lori Loughlin ‘could face at least two years in prison’ for college admissions scandal

Lori Loughlin could reportedly face at least two years in prison for her alleged involvement in the college admissions scandal.

The actress is one of 50 people being charged in connection with the scandal, after she was accused of “agreeing to pay bribes totalling $500,000” to ensure her two daughters were guaranteed a place on the USC rowing team.

While Felicity Huffman agreed to plead guilty in court on Monday and prosecutors will consider a sentence of the “low end” of jail time; TMZ has reported that Lori could face at least two years in prison.

According to the online publication prosecutors are only accepting pleas which include jail time and Lori is one of the remaining 37 people who have been offered plea deals.

The actress and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli may face two or two-and-a-half years in prison because they were accused of bribing a coach $500,000, while Felicity allegedly paid $15,000 to change her daugher’s SAT scores.

Prosecutors have reportedly given the accused a deadline to accept the plea deal or else they could go to the Federal Grand Jury, with more charges.
