Lorde has claimed that Kanye West and Kid Cudi stole her set design.
The singer hit out at the rappers following their L.A. gig at the weekend, where they performed in a clear glass box above a stage.
After seeing snaps of the concert, the 22-year-old hit out at the rappers and claimed that they stole her set design from her 2017 tour.
“I’m proud of the work I do and it’s flattering when other artists feel inspired by it, to the extent that they try it on themselves,” the singer wrote on Instagram.
“But don’t steal—not from women or from anyone else—in 2018 or ever,” she continued.
The Australian native also shared a snap from one of her concerts, which showed a glass box hanging over a stage with dancers in it and captioned the image: “March 2017.”
The singer shared several other pictures of her tour and also shared snaps of Kanye and Kid Cudi’s set design, to show the similarity between the two.
While many fans agreed with the singer’s claims, others felt that Lorde actually stole the idea from Kanye.
“Lol, let’s not forget that Kanye made the floating stage design popular with his Saint Pablo Tour so Lorde is a bit of hypocrite. I mean, Ye obviously stole that stage design from her but I highly doubt that Lorde would’ve even have that floating box if it wasn’t for Kanye,” one fan tweeted.
“But didn’t she steal the floating stage idea from Kanye from his saint Pablo tour then?” another fan said.

But her coachella box wasn’t floating, Kanye’s been doing the floating stage thing since 2016 so if anything Lorde is inspired
