Lindsay Lohan has admitted although she misses her glamorous lifestyle in Hollywood, she’s glad to be laying low in her new life.
The actress, who came to fame thanks to the lead role in the Parent Trap when she was 11, has suffered major highs and lows throughout her career.
From demanding $7 million per movie, to ending up in rehab, now Lindsay has put that life behind her and lives a more quiet life.
Speaking to E! News at the amfAR Gala in Cannes, Lindsay admitted she misses Hollywood.
“I miss it but at the same time, I’m creating a bunch of different things on my own so I want to focus on what I’m doing,” she explained.
“I think there’s a lot of noise that we deal with, so I found a kind of peace in life working with children and helping other people that really interest me.”
Right now the actress lives between Dubai and London, and said although she loves attending the odd red carpet, she likes to get back to normality.
“I think it’s important for us to recognize that all of this stuff is fun, but you have to take time for you.”
“I start filming a show called Sick Note in London with Rupert Grint and Nick Frost in two weeks,” she added.
