Lea Michele and Glee co-stars pay tribute to Cory Monteith 6 years after his death

Lea Michele has taken to Twitter to pay tribute to Cory Monteith on the 6th anniversary of his death.

The actor was best known for his portrayal of Finn Hudson on hit TV show Glee.

He passed away aged just 31, after a drug and alcohol overdose. The actor had historically struggled to overcome his addiction issues.

Lea, who was in a relationship with Cory at the time of his death, posted to Twitter with a beautiful picture of a sunset.

“The light always remains,” she wrote. Fans found her tribute to be reminiscent of last year’s, where she wrote:

“There are some who bring a light so great to the world, that even after they have gone, the light remains.”
