Lady Gaga rushes out of Critics’ Choice Awards after big win to “say goodbye” to her dying horse

Lady Gaga rushed out of the Critics’ Choice Awards after her big win last night to “say goodbye” to her dying horse, Arabella.

The actress sobbed on-stage when she won Best Actress, along with Glenn Close, at the award show.

While the pair both won the award, Gaga also took home the award for Best Song for her hit ‘Shallow’ in A Star Is Born.

The singer did not celebrate for long though, as she told fans that she rushed out of the event to say goodbye to her beloved horse.

“Goodbye, my angel ????,” the 32-year-old tweeted, alongside a snap of her and Arabella.

“I am so honoured and blessed to have won both Best Song and Best Actress alongside Glenn Close this evening,” she wrote in a screenshot of a note on her phone.

“My heart is exploding with pride. But it saddens me to say that just after the show I learned that my dear angel of a horse, Arabella, is dying. I am rushing to her now to say goodbye.”

“Her name means ‘yield to a prayer’. She is and was a beautiful horse. Our souls and spirits were one. When she was in pain, so was I.”

“I will never forget the moments we shared. Long hikes together, galloping through the canyons. Feeding her cookies. She will forever be a part of me. I am so very sad. But I wish for your pain to end, and the gates of heaven to open for you,” she continued.

“I love you. Girl, where do you think you’re goin?” Gaga finished, quoting her song inspired by her late aunt, Joanne.
