Lady Gaga has been nominated for a Golden Globe, for her first major film role in A Star Is Born.
The singer has been nominated in the Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture category, and is up against Glenn Close, Nicole Kidman, Melissa McCarthy, and Rosamund Pike.
Bradley Cooper has also been nominated in the Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture category, and is up against Willem Dafoe, Lucas Hedges, Rami Malek, and John David Washington.
The actor has also received his first Director nomination for the movie, and will go head-to-head with Alfonso Cuaron, Peter Farrelly, Spike Lee, and Adam McKay.
The film has also been nominated in the Best Motion Picture (Drama) category, and Shallow (A Star Is Born) is up for Best Original Song in a Motion Picture.
