The Kardashian-Jenner name is one of the most famous in the world, but the family’s latest addition won’t be using it.
Last night, Kylie finally revealed that her baby girl’s name is Stormi – and now she’s confirmed that her daughter will take Travis Scott’s surname, which isn’t actually Scott.
The 25-year-old rapper was born Jacques Webster, so Kylie’s baby is officially Stormi Webster.
Kylie announced her daughter’s name with a sweet Instagram post, and later edited the caption to include her surname, “Stormi Webster.” In just 12 hours, the photo has gained over 12 million likes on Instagram.
The news doesn’t come as a surpirse, as before Kim and Kanye got married, North was given the surname West, while Kourtney’s three children Mason, Penelope and Reign all share their father Scott Disick’s last name.
The only Kardashian grandchild to have the famous surname is Rob’s daughter Dream.
Kylie’s beau and new dad Travis previously revealed that he chose ‘Travis’ as his stage name to honour his favourite uncle.
“My uncle’s name is Travis. He was like my favorite uncle. My favourite relative,” he told Grantland.
He also told Complex, “The Scott comes from him, too, that was his nickname. I was, like, man, if I wanted to be a rapper I wanted to be this n****. He has this ill-ass crib, is fresh as hell, has all this land. N**** is smooth. Travis is smooth. I’ve always been smooth.”
Kylie finally confirmed her baby’s name, after fans were convinced that she was going to call her daughter Mariposa – the Spanish word for butterfly.
