Kourtney Kardashian defends her parenting – after clashing with Corey Gamble over disciplining her daughter

They got into a huge row on KUWTK

Kourtney Kardashian has defended her parenting, after she clashed with her mother’s boyfriend Corey Gamble over disciplining her daughter.

The reality star and her ex-boyfriend Scott Disick got into a massive row with Corey on the latest episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, after he said he would “whip” their daughter Penelope if she scratched him.

The fight kicked off after Kourtney explained that their nanny had quit after Penelope scratched her in a fit of rage.

After the episode aired, Kourtney stood by her argument by tweeting: “In my opinion, beating children is not [how] to ‘get your kids in check.’ When children are hurting or frustrated, the answer is not to physically hurt them.”

“They’re children and she was clearly hurting inside so hurting her physically is not going to make anything better. How do we not know better by now?!”

“I am very proud of my kids and being a parent isn’t always easy, but we do have consequences that don’t involve physical harm,” she explained.

Kourtney’s sister Khloe also took to Twitter to defend her and Scott.

She tweeted: “When it comes to discipline and your children … no one should judge. Everyone should do what’s best for their family. We all may parent differently but I would always respect how my sisters choose to discipline. #KUWTK.” [sic]
