Kim Kardashian reveals plans to start her own law firm

The entrepreneur is currently an intern at a top California law firm

Kim Kardashian has revealed her plans to start her own law firm.

The 39-year-old reality star has been interning with a top law firm in California over the past few months, in order to pass her bar exams.

Speaking in an interview with The New York Times, the entrepreneur said she has been committed to her studies, and one day would like to start a firm focused on prison reform.

“I’m definitely working really hard and it’s a commitment that I’ve chosen to take this time away from my family to study and to not go out with my friends and live a different life.”

“And I’m so O.K. with that,” she said.

“I love it and I just hope that one day I can start a firm that will help with prison reform.”

Kim revealed that she plans to hire prisoners to work for her as they “know the law better than most lawyers.”

“I would love to hire these men and women that are behind bars because they know the law better than most lawyers.”

The mother of four has been studying since July 2018, and has been very vocal about reforming the prison system in the United States.

Kim was instrumental in the release of prisoner Alice Marie Johnson, who was sentenced to life in prison for a non-violent drug offence.

After petitioning President Donald Trump, the 64-year-old prisoner was granted clemency.
