Kim Kardashian has met with death row inmate Kevin Cooper, who she believes was framed.

The 61-year-old was sentenced to death in 1985, for the murders of four people in California in 1983.

Kevin was accused of killing Douglas and Peggy Ryen, their daughter Jessica, 10, and her friend, 10-year-old Chris Hughes – but he has always proclaimed his innocence.

Back in October, Kim urged then-Governor of California Edmund ‘Jerry’ Brown to retest DNA evidence in Kevin’s case.

Then in February, California’s new Governor, Gavin Newsom, responded to Kim’s request by ordering additional testing.

It’s believed Kim visited Kevin at the notorious San Quentin prison on Thursday, so they could get to know each another while waiting on the results.

Those who believe Kevin is innocent have claimed that the San Bernardino Sheriff’s Department tampered with DNA evidence to frame Cooper.

Kim, who is studying to become a lawyer, has helped free 17 inmates so far this year.
