Kim Kardashian has reportedly informed the White House about rapper A$AP Rocky’s detainment in Sweden.
The rapper has been jailed in the European city as the authorities investigate an incident of alleged assault.
It has been widely reported that the musician is being held in very trying conditions.
A source told TMZ that Kanye told Kim of A$AP’s plight, and encouraged her to telephone one of her White House contacts to get Trump involved.
According to TMZ, Kim spoke to Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner, who in turn filled Trump in on the issue.
Earlier this week, Wendy Williams made a public request to Kim and momager Kris Jenner to lend their voices to help free the rapper.
“I think this is something Kim should get involved in, and I’ll tell you why,” Wendy said on her show.
She described how Kim is currently “involved with the law right now, and this would be a big feather in her cap if she can make this happen.”
