Earlier this year, the mum of four announced the launch of her brand under the name Kimono, but soon retracted the name following backlash for cultural insensitivity.
Now, she has announced that the brands new moniker is SKIMS.
Another take on her famous first name, Kim has renamed the brand to still reflect her, and the product it provides.
In a social media announcement, Kim wrote:
“My fans and followers are a huge inspiration to me – I’m always listening to their feedback and opinions, and am so grateful they shared their ideas for a new brand name.”
”After much thought and consideration, I’m excited to announce the launch of SKIMS Solutionwear,” she wrote.
“I love the idea that the pieces will be the closest thing to someone’s skin, skimming with amazingly soft and supportive fabrics which accentuate the best parts of our bodies.”
The reality TV star announced that the collection will be available from September 10th.
