Katy Perry pays $50,000 to outbid fans who wanted to win a date with boyfriend Orlando Bloom

Katy Perry has spent $50,000 in a charity auction for a date with her boyfriend Orlando Bloom – so that she could outbid fans.

The couple rekindled their romance earlier this year and now Katy has outbid a fan to win time with her beau at the One Love Malibu charity event.

Katy also performed at the charity concert which was held to raise funds to help rebuild the city after the devastating wildfires destroyed 13,000 homes.

Katy went on to describe how the winner would be holding her man, which she didn’t seem impressed by: “You’re holding him in a way that I am not excited about! You’re holding his pecs and his six-pack – and it’s so glorious!”

Near the end of the auction Katy couldn’t help herself and outbid the fan who proposed $20k, saying: “Laura, I’m sorry – I’m buying it for $50,000.”
