Kate Hudson has announced the birth of her daughter and revealed her adorable name.
The 39-year-old revealed that she gave birth on Tuesday and named her daughter after the newborn’s grandfather, Ron Fujikawa.
The mother-of-three announced the news on Instagram, as she told fans: “We have decided to name our daughter Rani (pronounced Ronnie) after her grandfather, Ron Fujikawa.”
“Ron was the most special man who we all miss dearly. To name her after him is an honor,” she continued.
The actress assured fans that her and the newborn were doing well, as she said: “Everyone is doing well and as happy as can be.”
“Our family thanks you for all the love and blessings that have been sent our way and we send ours right back”.
Kate already has two children from previous relationships, but this her first with boyfriend, Danny Fujikawa.
