Kaley Cuoco has had to undergo shoulder surgery on her honeymoon.
Just five days after getting married to husband Karl Cook, the Big Bang Theory star was forced to go under the knife due to an issue with her shoulder.
Taking to Instagram on Thursday, the blonde beauty shared a selfie from her hospital bed.
She wrote, “When your ‘honeymoon’ is shoulder surgery and your husband looks just as happy lol on the road to recovery.”
“Thank you for all the love and support! knowing @mrtankcook I’m sure he will be posting tons of hilarious gems,” she added.
Karl then shared a hilarious photo of his new wife in hospital alongside the caption, “Everyone has their own version of a newlywed glow….well @normancook yours is memorable #shouldersurgeryhoneymoon.”
The professional equestrian also posted a video of Kaley post-op, writing, “@normancook snoring like a distressed walrus. I love you so much honey but wow! #shouldersurgeryhoneymoon.”
It’s not clear what prompted Kaley’s shoulder surgery, and why she had to go under the knife just five days after her wedding on June 30.
The couple tied the knot in an intimate wedding at a horse stable near San Diego, California, last week.
