Hailey Baldwin’s rumoured ex Shawn Mendes ‘liked’ a photo of her on Instagram – and her husband Justin Bieber was forced to respond.
The pop singer paid tribute to his model wife this week, as he posted a series of candid snaps of her on Instagram.
Not long after his social media spree, fellow singer Shawn ‘liked’ one of the photos of Hailey – which caused a lot of fans to freak out.
However, Justin was quick to shutdown reports of tension between them – after a fan account shared a screenshot of Shawn’s ‘like’.
Chiming in on the comment section, Justin simply wrote, “They’re [sic] friends relax.”
Before her sudden engagement to Justin last year, Hailey was romantically linked to Shawn after they were spotted hanging out in his hometown.
Following months of speculation, the pair seemed to confirm their romance by attending the 2018 Met Gala together.
However, just three months later, Hailey got engaged to Justin while on holiday in the Bahamas in July.
The pair then secretly tied the knot in September, at a courthouse in New York.
