Justin Bieber has defended Chris Brown, by comparing him to the late Michael Jackson and Tupac Shakur.

Taking to Instagram, the 25-year-old shared a “legendary equation” which claimed “Michael Jackson + Tupac Shakur = Chris Brown.”

In the caption, Justin wrote: “Everyone wants to wait til people die To give them the credit they deserve. I’m calling it now when CB passes away after a long full life, you will miss what you had in front of you the whole time … trust me watch you will see.”

“The people who have over looked this mans talent because of a mistake he made.. you need to reevaluate! Love you @chrisbrownofficial,” he added.

Justin’s post comes amid controversy, as a number of artists have refused to work with Chris due to his history of violence towards women.

Back in 2009, Chris famously plead guilty to assaulting his then-girlfriend Rihanna.

The singer was also accused of sexually assaulting a woman in Paris back in January – an accusation he has since denied.

Recently, Scottish band Chvrches slammed American DJ Marshmello for working with Chris.

The band’s lead singer, Lauren Mayberry, has since revealed that they’ve been receiving death threats for speaking out against the singer – and they’ve been forced to increase security at their gigs.
