Justin Bieber has backed down, after challenging Hollywood actor Tom Cruise to a fight.
Earlier this week, the singer challenged Tom to “fight in the octagon” in a seriously random tweet – and it gained a lot of attention online.
However, Justin has since laughed off the challenge by telling TMZ that he was “just playing”.
He explained:Â “It was just a random tweet. I do that stuff sometimes.”
“I think he’d probably whup my ass in a fight!” he laughed. “I’d have to get in some good shape.”
Justin added: “I think he’d probably be out of my weight class. He’s big, you know, he’s got that dad strength.”
On Monday, Justin asked Dana White to help set up a fight between him and Tom, and Irish MMA star Conor McGregor even offered to host the fight.
Sharing Justin’s tweet, Conor wrote: “”If Tom Cruise is man enough to accept this challenge, McGregor Sports and Entertainment will host the bout. Does Cruise have the sprouts to fight, like he does in the movies? Stay tuned to find out!”
