Jussie Smollett has pled not guilty to filing a false police report.
The actor alleged that he had been attacked by two men in January and claimed that the men shouted racial and homophobic slurs at him.
Chicago Police launched an investigation into the incident and in February they claimed that Jussie had allegedly filed a false police report and staged the attack.
The 36-year-old arrived in court today and pled not guilty to 16 felony counts of disorderly conduct for allegedly filing a false police report.
Jussie is set to appear in court again on 17th April and is currently out currently out on $100,000 bond.
