It’s the news all Suicide Squad fans have been dying to hear – Harley Quinn and The Joker are reuniting for a stand alone film.
Jared Leto, who played The Joker in the hit movie, had voiced his frustration that a huge amount of their scenes together had been cut from the movie, and now sources say the pair will return for their own franchise.
Glenn Ficarra and John Requa, directors and executive producers of the hit NBC drama This Is Us and who also wrote film Crazy, Stupid, Love, will be at the helm of the new movie.
According to The Hollywood Reporter the duo are in final negotiations to start the film.
Jared Leto and Margot Robbie are due to reprise their roles, and their own franchise will come out AFTER the next Suicide Squad installment.
