City of Lies, starring Johnny Depp, was pulled a month before it was due to hit screens.
The film was based on Biggie’s murder, with Johnny Depp playing a detective who was investigating the case.
City of Lies was originally meant to be released on what would have been The Notorious B.I.G’s 46th birthday, according to E! News.
The release date was then changed to September 7th, but has since been pulled from the release schedule.
It is unknown if the film will be given a new release date.
The news comes after Johnny was sued last month for reportedly punching a location manager, Gregg Brooks, on the set of the film.
Gregg stated that he was fired from the production after refusing to sign a contract to waive his right to sue Johnny over the altercation.
