John Legend has revealed that he once tried to break up with Chrissy Teigen – but his now-wife quickly shut him down.
The All Of Me singer admitted that their break up lasted for an hour and a half – and 11 years later the pair are married, and parents to their daughter Luna.
Speaking to The Guardian, John said, “I was really stressed and busy.”
“I was just like: ‘I’d just be happier single right now,’ and she was like: ‘No.'”

Just hours after John’s interview appeared online, Chrissy shared a link to the article, and wrote, “11 years later, baby.”
The 31-year-old also tweeted, “It wasn’t a a typical breakup. He was on tour and his voice hurt and he was being a whiny face about everything and so yeah, I was like ‘no.'”
The couple married back in 2013 at a low-key courthouse wedding in New York City, but later celebrated their nuptials with a lavish wedding ceremony in Lake Como, Italy.
