John Legend is reportedly recreating a Vietnamese dating series all about music.
The singer’s company, Get Lifted Film Co. along with Legacy Productions and Critical Content are going to recreate the programme – as it originally aired in Vietnam at the start of 2018.
According to Deadline, the new production of Love At First Song is part of multi-year unscripted production plan between Critical Content and Get Lifted.

The show follows single singers who get paired up with other singers to practice duets and then perform live together.
Each week the contestants can choose to switch partners or remain in their couples.
“Love at First Song is really the best of two great genres: performance and dating, as contestants literally fall in love and make heartbreaking decisions during their duets,” Critical Content’s Tom Forman and Jenny Daly told the online publication.
“It’s the perfect format to come from a love song legend like John, plus a producer like Simon with a proven record of launching both hit shows and huge acts.”
