Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner have paid tribute to their beloved pooch Waldo Picasso, who was sadly killed in a “freak accident”.
Last week, the couple’s Alaskan Klee Kai dog sadly passed away after he was reportedly hit by a car in New York City.
To honour their late pup, Joe and Sophie got matching tattoos of Waldo on their forearms.
Sharing a photo of her new ink, the Game of Thrones star wrote: “I miss you, Waldo. Rest in peace my little baby.”
The Jonas Brothers singer also posted a photo of his tattoo on Instagram, and wrote: “R.I.P. my little angel.”
According to TMZ, Waldo was being walked by the couple’s dog walker on Wednesday when he “got spooked by a pedestrian” and ran into the street, before being struck by a vehicle.
An NYPD spokesperson also told E! News that a woman filed a police report on July 26, and claimed that on July 24 at around 11.30pm, a vehicle struck a dog on the street before leaving the scene.
She reported that the dog was brought to a hospital, where they sadly passed away.
