Fans of Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt were thrilled when news broke that the ex-couple could be in for a reunion at the 77th annual Golden Globes.
The pair who married in 2000 in Malibu announced their split in January 2005.
Brad went on to eventually marry and divorce Angelina Jolie, while Jennifer married and divorced Justin Theroux.
Last night, the 56-year-old won Best Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture for his role in Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, and as the star delivered his acceptance speech his ex-wife looked on approvingly.
Brad joked about being unable to bring his mother as his date to the awards but couldn’t because [the press] brand any woman he stands next to as a new girlfriend.
“I wanted to bring my mom but I couldn’t because any woman I stand next to, they say I’m dating,” he joked.

It was reported that the pair were spotted at the CAA Golden Globes afterparty at Sunset Tower Hotel.
Jennifer Aniston was nominated for Best Actress in a Drama series for her role on The Morning Show, but lost out to The Crown’s Oliva Colman.
