Jenna Dewan has opened up about her split with ex-husband, Channing Tatum, saying it was “a positive thing.”
The actor’s announced their divorce on social media with a joint statement.
The couple had been married for nine years, after meeting on the set of Step Up in 2005.
“It’s okay for a relationship to change into a new form that is actually better for both people involved, and I think that’s maybe what shocked everyone so much—that it can be a positive thing.”
“That was ultimately what happened with us,” Jenna told Women’s Health.
The actress is very positive about the split, saying, “It does look different; it’s a new normal, and I really think we’ll get used to that.”
The 37-year-old has been taking time to look after herself since the split and regularly meditates, hosts shamanic goddess circles and even got her aura read.
