Jenelle Evans’ son Kaiser has been removed from their family home, after her husband David Eason allegedly shot and killed their dog.
According to E! News, Child Protective Services took the four-year-old from his school on Friday, May 10, after he spoke to school counsellors.
In a statement, the former Teen Mom 2 star said: “During this difficult time, I am focused on getting Kaiser back and cooperating with my legal team on the next steps to getting my children back.”
The news comes after Jenelle’s husband David reportedly shot and killed her French Bulldog pooch Nugget – after it became aggressive towards their two-year-old daughter Ensley.
After confirming Nugget’s death, Jenelle told E! News that she was “very much considering divorcing” David – but she has since revealed that they’re seeking marriage counselling.
According to reports, the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office and Columbus County Animal Control have launched a joint investigation into David’s alleged actions.
David seemed to defend his actions earlier this month, in an Instagram post that has since been removed.
He wrote: “I dont give a damn what animal bites my baby on the face… whether it be your dog or mine, a dog is a dog and I dont put up with that s**t at all. I’m all about protecting my family, it is my lifes mission.”
“Some people are worth killing or dying for and my family means that much to me. You can hate me all you want but this isn’t the first time the dog bit Ensley aggressively. The only person that can judge weather or not a animal is a danger to MY CHILD is ME,” he added.
After David’s alleged actions hit headlines, MTV cut ties with Jenelle by firing her from Teen Mom 2.
In a statement, an MTV spokesperson said: “MTV ended its relationship with David Eason over a year ago in February 2018 and has not filmed any new episodes of Teen Mom 2 with him since.”
“Additionally, we have stopped filming with Jenelle Eason as of April 6, 2019 and have no plans to cover her story in the upcoming season.”
