Jackson Jackson called the police on Saturday to check on the welfare of her son Eissa Al Mana.

The singer’s one-year-old son was with his father, Janet’s estranged husband Wissam Al Mana, at the Nobu hotel in Malibu, California at the time.

According to PEOPLE, Janet called the authorities at around 10pm.

A spokesperson for the Malibu Lost Hill’s Sheriff’s Station said, “Deputies were there [and] called to the scene. They decided the child was okay and they left.”

Meanwhile, Janet’s brother Randy Jackson has told Entertainment Tonight that his sister was concerned after her nanny grew “terrified” by Wissam’s behaviour, and “locked herself in a bathroom, so she could contact Janet”.

Janet and Wissam, who quietly married in 2012, split in April 2017, just three months after welcoming their first child.
