James Bond release date delayed following director Danny Boyle’s exit

The release date for the new James Bond film has been delayed following the director, Danny Boyle’s exit from the production.

The film was set to be released on 8th November 2019, but may now be pushed back until late 2020.

The news comes after the announcement that director, Danny Boyle, left the production over ‘creative differences.’

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film was set to be delayed before Danny even left.

The film was to begin shooting in December, but as a script still needs to be finalised and a new director must be found, it doesn’t look like the production will begin for another several months.

Idris Elba was rumoured to be taking on the role of the new James Bond, but the actor put the speculation to rest earlier this week as he stated that he will not be taking on the iconic role.
