House of Cards creator calls Kevin Spacey claims ‘deeply troubling’

House of Cards creator Beau Willimon has spoken out after claims Kevin Spacey tried to seduce a 14-year-old actor in his home.

Star Trek star Anthony Rapp alleged that Kevin lay on top of him after a party in his New York apartment, back in 1986.

Kevin has since released an apology, saying he didn’t recall the incident but was sorry for his behaviour.

Now Bea Willimon has said he found the allegations “deeply troubling”.

“Anthony Rapp’s story is deeply troubling. During the time I worked with Kevin Spacey on “House of Cards,” I neither witnessed nor was aware of any inappropriate behavior on set or off,” he wrote on Twitter.

“That said, I take reports of such behavior seriously and this is no exception. I feel for Mr. Rapp and I support his courage.”

In Kevin’s response to the claims, he also officially came out as gay, saying he had loved both men and women during his lifetime but is has chosen to be gay.
