Halsey has announced that she’s split from her rapper beau G-Eazy.
The singer, who dated G-Eazy for a year, told fans via Instagram.
She wrote, “I normally keep this kind of thing private but provided our public nature I feel I need to inform my fans.
“G-Eazy and I are taking some apart. I’m eager to continue the upcoming passage of time dedicating myself to my art and career, and the duration of my tour.”
She added, “I wish him the best. Thanks for respecting our privacy at this time.”
Rumours were rife that the pair had split earlier this week, after Halsey posted a photo with her dog on social media with the caption, “Kiss my dog on the forehead and then kiss ur ass goodbye.”
The 23-year-old’s caption was a reference to Drake’s new song ‘8 out of 10,’ which features the lyrics, ‘Kiss my son on the forehead then kiss your ass goodbye.’
Fans also noticed that the songstress deleted many photos of G-Eazy from her Instagram feed.
The couple were last seen in public together at the 2018 MTV Movie & TV Awards in June.
